Mini Split Cleaning
in Port St. Lucie & Stuart
When a ductless unit starts blowing weaker air or smelling stale, the cause is usually buildup on the parts you can’t see. Rocket Cooling cleans mini splits of every brand across the Treasure Coast, from Port St. Lucie and Fort Pierce to Stuart, Jensen Beach and Palm City.
What Builds Up Inside a Mini Split
Every hour it runs, a mini split pulls room air across its coil and through its blower wheel. On the Treasure Coast, that air carries humidity most of the year, and with it the dust, pet hair and moisture that let dirt and mold collect inside. A filter rinse only reaches the front of the unit. The coil and blower wheel need a professional cleaning. Plenty of homeowners keep up with their central AC but forget the mini split, and with replacement costs up, a cleaning is a smart way to help it last longer.
Basic or Deep Cleaning
Choose a Basic Cleaning for the filter, cover and blower wheel plus a coil inspection, or a Deep Cleaning that also washes the coil and internal parts with a specialized solution. For a deep cleaning, a waterproof wash bag fits around the unit and carries the runoff into a bucket, so the unit stays on the wall and your room stays dry. Compare both cleanings.
Keep It Clean
We recommend a UV light or UV light strip after a deep cleaning to help keep the coil from growing mold and bacteria again. It’s optional, but our customers who add a UV light after a cleaning have seen great results in keeping their units clean longer. For pet or cooking odors, we also install air scrubbers for mini splits.
